A fire that broke out at a furniture factory on Satarkul Road in Uttar Badda of the capital has been brought under control.
Four units of firefighters brought the blaze under control at 1:00pm, one hour after the inferno originated at the factory at 12:00pm, said Fire Service Control Room's duty officer Lima Khanom.
The fire destroyed all the furniture on the second and third floors of the building. The fire started from the second floor of the three-storey building, locals said.
