Lalmonirhat Municipalit has got a very modern ambulance from India as a gift.

India has given the ambulance to the Municipality marking the Golden Jubilee of Independence.

Assistant High Commission of India in Rajshahi Sanjeev Kumar Bhati handed over the symbolic key of the ambulance at a discussion meeting held on the municipal premises at 4:30pm on Wednesday.

Presided over by Lalmonirhat mayor Rezaul Karim Swapan, Deputy Commissioner Md Abu Jafar, Capt (Rtd) Azizul Haque (B.P), Additional Superintendant of Police Marufa Jamal, convener of Lalmonirhat Development Movement Council Supendra Nath Dutta, social worker Hafiz Ferdous, among others, were present.
