Rezaul for maintaining communal harmony

Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim said on Friday communal harmony must be maintained with the bond of friendship.

“The bonds of friendship could not be separated in the name of religion, caste, race or gender,” he told a reception ceremony here.
Astha-93 Foundation, a non-government organisation, arranged the freedom fighters reception ceremony marking the golden jubilee of independence and Victory Day, and the ‘Friendship Festival 2021’ at Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) in the capital.

Speaking as the chief guest, Rezaul said one should identify himself/herself as a human being, not as a Muslim, a Hindu, a Buddhist or a Christian.

The bond of friendship should not be separated in religious thoughts, he added.

The fisheries minister said patriotism, anti-corruption spirit, morality and values ??must be kept alive in the enthusiasm of friendship.
The life of a person, who lacks transparency, concentration, devotion and perseverance, cannot be successful at all, he said. Astha-93 Foundation president THM Jahangir presided over the meeting.
