Scholastica celebrates 50 years of Victory

To celebrate the 50 years Victory of Bangladesh, on December 16, the students, management of all campuses of Scholastica celebrated a virtual cultural programme.

Heads of Section of all campuses of Scholastica paid their tributes to the martyrs and brave heroes of the War of Liberation.

On this occasion, the Drama Club of Senior section at Mirpur Campus staged a virtual drama ‘Ora Akhono Ashe’, which was also written by the students. Through their acting Students from the drama club highlighted the sacrifice of the martyrs of the intellectuals.

Head of Section, Nurun Nahar Mozumder and Head of Academics, Sabina Mustafa gave speeches for this special occasion, said a press release.

A virtual Cultural Programme was organised by the students of Senior Uttara Campus. They paid tributes to all martyrs specially the seven war heroes of the Liberation war.

The members of the Drama, Art and Music Club also participated in an Art Competition on the occasion of the Victory Day, winners were awarded and congratulated on this Virtual platform.

Among others Principal and Head of Section, Farah S Ahmed delivered her speech on this special occasion and paid rich tributes to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Renowned drama and cultural personality, Mamunur Rashid was the chief guest at the virtual Victory Day programme of Junior Gulshan Campus of Scholastica. Through his speech, Mamunur Rashid highlighted the memoirs of the Liberation War and called upon the students to pay tribute to the Liberation War Heroes of the country.

Head of Section of Junior Gulshan Campus, Fardah Farhana Alam also spoke on this special occasion.

The Junior Dhanmondi and Uttara campus also organized similar virtual programs marking the 50 years of victory day of Bangladesh. Student and parents of all campuses attended the victory Day program with great enthusiasm.
