Daraz Presents the Marvel of Tomorrow Influencers’ Award 2021

The First Ever Influencers’ Mega-Event Hosted in Bangladesh

For the first time in the country, the influencer based red-carpet mega-event 'The Marvel of Tomorrow' has been organized. The mega-event was organized by Marvel Be You, a research-based influencer management platform by The Yours Truly (TYT). The objective of the event was to give recognition and due respect to all the social media influencers of the country who have been playing a remarkable role in the society through their work for the last two years.

Ms. Seema Hamid, Chief Patron, Youth Bangla Cultural Foundation was present as the Chief Guest in the award ceremony. Nasrul Hamid (Bipu), MP, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh was present as the guest of honor.

There were 15 categories for prizes, which were granted to deserving nominees in the presence of esteemed guests from the creative industry. The ‘Marvel of Tomorrow’ platform created a unique opportunity for Bangladeshi influencers to receive acknowledgement in their respective industries and beyond.

The winners in 15 categories were Rafsan TheChotobhai;Food Blogger,Habiba Shurovy, Fashion; Sadat Hossain, Writer; Dr. Saklayen Russel and Sohel Taj, Well Being; Antik Mahmud, Art; Pritom Hasan, Music; Navin Ahmed, Makeup; Ridy Sheikh, Dance; Shams Afroz Chowdhury (Thoughts of Shams) and Rasheduzzaman Rakib, Content Creation; Fardeen Sharief (Banglar Ranna Ghor), Cooking; Nadir on the Go and Niaz Morshed (Travelers of Bangladesh), Travel; Munzereen Shahid, Community Engagement; Munem Wasif, Photography; Rafsan Sabab, Stand-Up Comedy; and last but not the least, Ayman Sadik, Business Next Gen. Along with these, four honorary awards were given to Jubaer Talukder, Mahmuda Chowdhury Moly and Shah Rafayet Chowdhury, Community Engagement; and Shimmergirl, Makeup.

The chief guest of the occasion, Seema Hamid, Chief Patron of Youth Bangla Cultural Foundation, said, “Social media influencers are currently inspiring the people of the country in tremendous ways. We have a lot to learn from their work. Therefore, I urge all the influencers to take note of the impact of your work in society, so that you can continue to enrich our nation in positive ways.” She further added, “The Marvel Be You is a great platform and I present my heartiest congratulations to everyone associated for organizing this grand event.”

Guest of Honor Nasrul Hamid (Bipu), MP, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh said, “We have witnessed horrible crises during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, in the midst of all this, the positive impact that the country's social media influencers have had on society is, truly, commendable. I can see that with such innovative thinking from the young generations, Bangladesh is on the path to become more beautiful, eco-friendly and relevant in the wider world.” He added, “We have to be aware that future generations are growing up by watching these creative influencers on social media. As such, their involvement in shaping the future of the country is undeniable and limitless. So I want to thank the event organization team for taking the initiative to highlight the wonderful work being done by all the influencers in our country. ”

‘The Marvel of Tomorrow’ is the largest influencers’ award ceremony in the country. The platform of ‘Marvel Be You’ is playing an extraordinary role in recognizing brands and influencers alike, in order to promote and further the social media market. This platform will work to make networking more accessible to influencers.
