Mariner Young’s Club maintained an all-win record as they beat Abahani Limited by 1-0 goal in their last match of the first phase of the ongoing Premier Division Hockey at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium in the capital on Monday.
 
Fazle Hossain Rabby scored the match-winner in the 52nd minute of the game. With the day’s feat, Mariners claimed the top slot with 33 points from 11 wins. 
 
In the day’s other match, Mohammedan defeated Ajax SC by 6-0 goals at the same venue. Argentine national player Gonzalo Peillat scored twice in the 37th and 46th minutes while Rajib Das, Ashraful Islam, Sunil Vitalacharya and Mainul Hossain Koushik added one each in the 11th, 16th, 42nd and 44th minutes.

Mohammedan and Abhanai are sharing the same slots as they earned 27 points from 9 wins and one draw each.
