Beximco Pharmaceutical Limited has brought Emorivir capsule in the market for the treatment of coronavirus or Covid-19 patients, reports our correspondent.

The price of per capsule has been fixed at Tk 70. The medicine is now available in drug stores of the country.

Chief operating officer of Beximco Pharma Rabbur Reza confirmed the matter to reporters on Tuesday noon.

He said, “As per the advice of doctors, Covid-19 infected people aged over 18 years will have to take 40 pills to prevent infection. It will cost them Tk2,800 to complete the five-day course of 40 Emorivir capsules.”
