Whip of the parliament Abu Sayeed Al Mahmood Swapon on Friday warned that none would be spared if anyone tries to create anarchy using religious sentiment.
“None would be spared for disrespecting religious sentiment, they would be brought to book irrespective of their religion. Showing respect to other religions a Sunnah,” he said while inaugurating construction work of a dormitory of Nurul Huda Kamil Madrasa under Joypurhat Sadar.
Swapon, also the organizing secretary of the Awami League, said that conspiracy is going on against Bangladesh.
“The conspirators cannot tolerate as Bangladesh is in good position,” he said.
Later, at a grass roots representative meeting with Joypurhat AL president and district council chairman Arifur Rahman Rocket in the chair, among others, district AL general secretary Jakir Hossain, vice-president and Sadar upazila chairman SM Solaiman Ali, joint general secretary and mayor of municipality Mostafizur Rahman were addressed.
