US invites applications for 2022 Fulbright Visiting Scholar Prog

US Embassy Dhaka has invited applications for the 2022 Fulbright Visiting Scholar Programme, which provides grants to Bangladeshi scholars to conduct post-doctoral research and/or teach at US institutions from an academic semester to a full academic year.  

 This year, Fulbright celebrates its 75th anniversary providing scholars the opportunity to conduct post-doctoral research at US institution s ranging from an academic semester to a full academic year.

If selected, scholars will receive a six-to-nine-month research or lecturing grant, beginning in September 2022, said the US Embassy.

Deadline for submission of application is on Saturday, December 11, 2021.

Experienced Bangladeshi professionals, university faculty members, and researchers at think-tanks and relevant governmental and non-governmental organizations with 10 years or more professional experience are invited to apply.

The Embassy seeks proposals on a wide range of topics in all disciplines with a special focus on university administration and curriculum development, distance learning, education technology, public health, biological sciences, pharmacy, climate change and disaster management, urban planning, international relations, and other related fields.  

Candidates must have excellent English language skills to function professionally in an American university setting.
