A tribunal has denied bail to Hasan Al Mamun, the founder convener of the Bangladesh Student Rights Council, in a rape case filed by a student of the Department of Islamic Studies at Dhaka University with the Lalbagh Police Station.

Judge Muhammad Habibur Rahman Siddiqui of the Dhaka Women and Child Abuse Suppression Tribunal-2 passed the order at noon on Tuesday (November 2).
