The Bangladesh cricket team on Tuesday decided not to train at Jayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi in UAE, venue scheduled to host their second match against England.

Tigers decided to train at the academy ground in Dubai for the crucial match against England that implies Tigers will be playing the game in a completely unknown ground as most of them did not have the chance to play in Abu Dhabi.

Team management sources said that they opted not to go to Abu Dhabi as it would have taken three hours long drive that they wanted to avoid.

Bangladesh will face against England on Wednesday in the second match of Super 12s fixtures. This is going Tigers’ maiden T20 match against England.

Earlier, Bangladesh were humbled by Sri Lanka in their first match of the Super 12s of the ongoing ICC World T20 at Sharjah on Sunday.

Bangladesh had never faced off England before in the T20 format despite playing 116 matches.

Bangladesh won just one match in the main stage of the ICC World T20 since their maiden entry in the ICC mega T20 event in 2007.
