A Dhaka court on Tuesday granted bail to film actress Pori Moni in a case filed under the Narcotics Control Act.

Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions court's acting Judge Rabiul Alam issued the bail order after Pori Moni surrendered before the court, seeking bail in the case.

Besides, Ashraful Islam Dipu and Kabir Hossain, two associates of the actress, have been bail after surrendered before the court, sought bail in the case.

Pori Moni and Dipu were shown arrested on August 5 in the case filed by the Rapid Action Battalion with Banani Police Station.

The previous day, members of the elite force detained them. They seized alcohol and narcotics from Pori Moni's residence.
