Jubayer, Sajida clinch golds in Nat’l Youth Shooting

Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan shooters Ehsanul Mahbub Jubayer and Sajida Haque clinched gold medals in the men’s and the women’s 10m air rifle (60 shot) of the ongoing Hamidur Rahman 4th National Youth Shooting Championship at the Gulshan Shooting Complex in the capital on Friday. 

Jubayer scored 591.2 to earn gold in his group while BKSP shooters Antor Sarkar and Abdullah al Mahmud Tamim scored 582 and 578.3 to bag silver and bronze respectively.

Sajida scored 617 to bag gold in her group while BKSP shooter Moumita Afroz Riya scored 595.3 to earn silver and Chattogram Metropolitan Shooting Club shooter Shaira Arefin scored 590.9 to bag bronze.

In the men’s 10m air rifle open sight (30 shot), BKSP shooter Hasib Hossain earned gold scoring 252, Pirojpur Rifle Club shooter Tazdid Mostofa earned silver scoring 246 and Pabna Rifle Club shooter Mushfiq Rahman earned bronze scoring 230.

In the women’s 10m air rifle open sight (30 shot), Kushtia Rifle Club shooter Samanta Rahman bagged gold scoring 235, Pirojpur Rifle Club shooter Aysha Siddika Moon bagged silver scoring 232 and BKSP shooter Safia Alam Shova earned bronze scoring 225.
