Newcomer expat Bangladeshi player Yousuf Zulqurnain​ has received a Bangladeshi passport on Monday before the U-23 team’s campaign in the upcoming AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers.

The England-born Bangladeshi midfielder got a maiden call in the 38-member preliminary squad of U-23s. He directly reported to the interim head coach Maruful Haque after arriving here on October 12.

Bangladesh will play against the hosts Kuwait on October 27; Uzbekistan on October 29 and Saudi Arabia on October 31 in the Group D of the qualifiers at Kuwait in qualifiers.
