An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Kermadec Islands, New Zealand at 02:30:57 GMT on Sunday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 29.9485 degrees south latitude and 177.3935 degrees west longitude, reports Xinhua.
