A couple was strangulated to death by unidentified miscreants in Shaol village in Singra upazila early Sunday, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Noni Gopal Kundu, 70, and his wife Chitra Rani Kundu, 62, who are residents of the village.

Police said miscreants might have strangulated them in their house in the early morning.

Nasir Uddin, officer-in-charge of Singra Police Station, confirmed the incident.
