India to host 2 festivals on Bangladeshi films form Oct 21

India is hosting to film festivals this month, where only Bangladeshi films will be screened. Between the festivals, ‘2nd Bangladesh Film Festival’ will be held from October 21 to 23 in Agartala while ‘1st Bangladesh Film Festival’ in Guwahati will run from October 23 to 28.

A total of 35 Bangladeshi films have been primarily selected for these festivals under the initiative of Information and Broadcasting Ministry.

The 35 films are – ‘Hasina: A Daughter's Tale’, ‘Gohin Baluchor’, ‘Jalaler Golpo’, ‘Moner Moto Manush Pailam Na’, ‘Abar Bashanto’, ‘Chhuye Dile Mon’, ‘Anil Bagchi'r Ekdin’, ‘Jodi Ekdin’, ‘Zero Degree’, ‘Ami o Icecreamwala’, ‘Baapjaaner Bioscope’, ‘Gondi’, ‘No Dorai’, ‘Bishhoshundori’, ‘Gor’, ‘Unoponchash Batash’, ‘Rupsha Nodir Banke’, ‘Aynabaji’, ‘Krishnopokkho’, ‘Bhubon Majhi’, ‘Tukhor’, ‘Shatta’, ‘Rajniti’, ‘Dhaka Attack’, ‘Halda’, ‘Antor Jaala’, ‘Akhi o Tar Bondhura’, ‘Putro’, ‘Poramon 2’, ‘Debi’, ‘Jannat’, ‘Fagun Haway’, ‘Kaalo Megher Bhela’, ‘Maya: The Lost Mother’ and ‘Guerilla’.

The selection committee has shortlisted the 35 films based on their release date (within 5 years).
