Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Wednesday forecast that the intensity of rainfall may increase and temperature may decrease slightly.
In addition, city dwellers have been suffering from scorching heat for the last few days. However, the sky of the capital has been remain cloudy since morning. The heat has also decreased a bit.
Except Barishal and Chattogram, no rain was reported all over the country from 6 am on Tuesday to 6 am on Wednesday. In the meantime, the highest rainfall of 26mm was recorded in Feni.
Though southwest monsoon wind left country’s southern part, it is less active in other parts of the country, meteorologist Md Monowar Hossain said.
Monsoon wind is prevailing in weak to moderate conditions in North Bay. Recently, most of the low is located in the North Bay.
Bangladesh’s weather is now favourable as monsoon wind left some parts of Bangladesh.
The mercury is remain dry in other parts of the country. Day and night temperature may remain unchanged, according to the Met office.
