Leg-spinner Aminul Islam Biplob, who was named as one of two additional players of Bangladesh national team in Oman, will return home on Wednesday morning.

According to a BCB official, Aminul is expected to land at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 07:00am.

The 21-year old leg-spinner faced a surprise axing by the BCB after they decided only to keep Rubel and that too as back-up of injured pace bowlers.

The ICC kept a provision of having reserve cricketers since the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy and every team is taking the opportunity in the upcoming event by picking several cricketers as travelling reserves taking the coronavirus situation into account.

While Aminul is heading back to Dhaka from Muskat, the others will play a practice game against Sri Lanka on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi as part of their preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup.

They will play another practice game against Ireland on October 14 at the same venue before taking on Scotland in their first qualifying round match on October 17 in Muskat, Oman
