Bangladesh has strongly condemned the Houthi bomb-laden drone attack which targeted King Abdullah Airport in Jazan, Saudi Arabia recently wounding civilians, including few Bangladeshis working at the airport.

Such attacks are a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, moral values and completely unacceptable, said a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dhaka on Tuesday (Oct 12). The bomb attack took place on October 8

Bangladesh expressed its grave concerns over the growing number of Houthi militia attacks on Saudi Arabia which undermines the ongoing peace initiatives.

While urging a peaceful resolution of Yemen conflict, Bangladesh expresses its solidarity with the government of Saudi Arabia and its brotherly people in condemning such irresponsible activities.

Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh has been asked to look after Bangladeshi citizens injured in latest Houthi attack and to provide necessary supports.
