Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast that light to moderate rain may occur over country on Friday.

The Met office said monsoon winds are less active over Bangladesh and weak over North Bay.

Meteorologist Hafizur Rahman said light to moderate rain with gusty wind may occur over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Chattogram, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions. Day and night temperature may remain unchanged. Wind speed from southwest / west in Dhaka will be 8-12 km per hour.

The weather may change slightly till Saturday. Low may create in North Andaman Sea and adjacent area by five days.

On Thursday, 40 mm rainfall was recorded in Chattogram. The highest temperature was recorded at 35.6 degree Celsius in Jashore

Dhaka recorded 34.4 degree Celsius temperature and 21 mm rain on the same day.
