Overall temperature in Bangladesh has increased by 0.5 degree Celsius in last 44 years because of climate change, says a new World Bank report.

Given the present rising trend, the temperature is likely to rise further by 1.4 degree Celsius by 2050 with more rainfall and extended monsoon season.
