Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal expressed his hope that country’s remittance flow will become normal within two to three months.
The finance minister talked in this regard after a virtual meeting of the cabinet committee on purchase on Wednesday.
The current flow of remittance is also satisfactory. If the current flow of remittances continues, Bangladesh will receive $22-23 billion as remittances annually. Many expatriate Bangladeshis got stuck at home are now going back to works. Country’s all remittance come from the expatriates, he said.
As the expatriates have started to go back to their workplaces, the remittance flow will return to normalcy within two to three months, Mustafa Kamal added.
