The University Grants Commission (UGC) on Tuesday organized a virtual roundtable discussion titled “Ecosystem of Innovative Education through Industrial Collaboration.”
Deputy Minister of Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury was present as the chief guest in the virtual roundtable discussion titled "Ecosystem of Innovative Education through Industrial Cooperation."
Prof Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, Chair, Mujib 100Idea Contest 2021, Prof. M. Shamim Kaiser, Technical Secretary IC4IR 2021 were present as the moderators of the session.
Speaking at the discussion, the Deputy Minister of Education said the University Grants Commission is going to organize "Mujib 100Idea Contest 2021" to create opportunities to win prizes by sharing innovative ideas for students and all citizens.
He said knowledge-based education in Bangladesh will move forward at a unique height if an ecosystem of innovative education is created through industrial cooperation.
Responding to various questions from the participants, Prof. Shibli Rubayat-ul-Islam said that there is a distance between Industry and Academia and the idea competition will bridge the gap between Industry and Academia which will create an environment of cooperation.
Prof Md. Sajjad Hossain in his speech called upon the students, teachers and all academicians to use the ecosystem of industrial collaboration and innovate education with special importance in building a technology-dependent Bangladesh.
