74 police family children get intelligent scholarship in Rajshahi

Rajshahi Range Police (RMP) has provided intelligent scholarships to 74 children of its family aimed at inspiring them to study and acquire knowledge to make themselves worthy citizens.

On behalf of the Inspector General of Police, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police handed over the award titled "Bangladesh Police Intelligent Scholarship 2020" comprising crest, appreciation letter and honorarium at a function held at its conference hall yesterday afternoon.

DIG of Police Abdul Baten accompanied by other high police officials handed over the scholarship.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Baten said the scholarship will inspire and attentive the students to education which is important to take the nation forward successfully.

He urged them to remain far away from drug-addiction, terrorism and militancy. He also told them many of the police family children are brightening the nation in different working fields and nation-building sectors.
