Two construction workers were killed and three others injured after a trolley overturned in Haluaghat upazila of Mymensingh on Thursday morning.

The deceased were identified as Harun Ali, 60, son of Shashuddin and Habibiur, 30, son of  Ohed Ali, both of them hailing from Gazipur village at Swadeshi union in the upazila.

The trolley carrying the victims lost control and overturned in Narail Itakhola area this morning, leaving five workers injured.

Later, locals took the injured to Haluaghat Upazila Health Complex where duty doctor declared two of them dead. Later, the three injured were shifted to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) in critical condition.
