Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun Tuesday said Bangladesh is moving forward at an irresistible pace in all fields, including industrialization, under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

"The political commitment of the present government is to build a developed and prosperous Bangladesh by 2041 by continuing this trend of development. To fulfill this promise, the government is implementing a comprehensive plan to improve the living standard of the people," he said.

The minister said this while speaking as the chief guest at a function marking the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina held at Industries Ministry conference room in the city, said a press release.

State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder attended the function as the special guest with Industries Secretary Zakia Sultana in the chair.

Speaking as the special guest, Kamal Ahmed Mojumder said after killing the Father of the Nation, Sheikh Hasina has been leading the country on the path of building a happy and prosperous Bangladesh by cherishing Bangabandhu's ideals.

He said under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh has achieved significant achievements in every field including economic growth, women empowerment, agriculture, education, health, rural infrastructure and communication.

Kamal called upon the authorities concerned to be sincere in turning the non-profit organization under the Ministry of Industries into a profitable organisation.
