Annual Commanders Conference-2021 of Corps of Military Police held

The Annual Commanders Conference-2021 of the Corps of Military Police (CMP) of the Bangladesh Army was held at the Corps of Military Police Centre and School (CMPC&S) in Savar Cantonment on Tuesday.

Chief of Army Staff and 6th Colonel Commandant of CMP General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed was present as the chief guest at the conference.

Chief of Army Staff gave his guidance and advice to the military officers and CMP commanders present at the Annual Command Conference. 

In his speech, he emphasized on sophisticated, pragmatic and innovative thinking training consistent with technological advances in modern warfare. 

He praised the role of the military police in the country and in the international arena and congratulated every member of the corps. 

The conference was attended by senior military officers of Army headquarters, Army Training and Doctrine Command and Savar area.

At the end of the conference, the Chief of Army Staff inaugurated the newly constructed memorial 'Bijoy Cheton’ at CMPC&S in memory of the 17 heroic freedom fighters of the CMP during the Great Liberation War and planted a sapling there. 

He also unveiled the nameplate of 'Major General Zainul Abedin Auditorium' at CMPC&S Center.
