5 mountaineers killed on Russia's Mount Elbrus

Five people have died climbing Mount Elbrus, the highest peak in Russia and Europe, the TASS news agency reported on Friday.
Rescuers brought 14 others down from the mountain TASS said, quoting an official from the Russian Emergencies Ministry. The individuals received medical treatment.
The group of mountaineers requested aid at an altitude of 5,400 meters on Thursday due to harsh weather conditions.
