Another body washed ashore on Cox’s Bazar sea beach on Saturday, one day after two bodies were recovered similarly.
Lifeguards recovered the body at around 12:15 pm Saturday from Nazirartek Point on the beach.
Cox's Bazar District Administration Executive Magistrate (Tourism Cell) Syed Murad Islam confirmed the matter.
However, he could not confirm whether the deceased was a local or a tourist.
Mahbub Alam, supervisor of the beach workers, said a young man was rescued from the Nazirartek Point area of the beach after 11:30 am on Saturday.
Two bodies were recovered from Seagull Point of Cox's Bazar sea beach on Friday.
Earlier on Sep 8, Taufique Mokbul (22), a resident of Dhaka's Adabor area and a student of BRAC University drowned around the same Seagull Point, that corresponds to the location of the eponymous hotel on the beachfront.
