The syndicate of Dhaka University has finally decided to reopen its dormitories for the residential students of master's and honours final year on October 5.

The highest policy-making forum of the university took the decision on Saturday afternoon following the recommendation of the Provost Standing Committee.

The syndicate has also decided to intensify surveillance to ensure at least one dose of vaccine for the students before entering the halls.

These decisions were finalized at a special syndicate meeting of Dhaka University on Saturday afternoon.
