Authorities of different public universities are taking decision to reopen their campus after one-and-half-year closure due to coronavirus pandemic.
Of the institutions, Dhaka University will reopen at the beginning of the October.
In this regard, people concerned are fearing that various kinds of problems and crises will be created. In recent times, the University Grants Commission (UGC) held a meeting with vice chancellors of universities to overcome challenges.
Sources said a decision has been taken to install closed-circuit cameras (CCTVs) in important areas of the campuses.
Besides, it has been decided to increase special security and surveillance to avoid any untoward incidents on the campus.
