Bangladesh openers Soumya Sarkar and Mohammad Naim will join Mushfiqur Rahim in Bangladesh A team and feature in the opening two 50-over matches against BCB High Performance Unit.

Mushfiqur earlier informed the team management that he is interested to play the opening two games of the three-match series against High Performance Unit and Soumya and Naim also followed the same path to get few match practices before leaving for Oman.

The team management also rescheduled the 50-over series as now it will be played respectively on September 28, 30 and October 4 considering Bangladesh will leave for Oman to take part in the ICC T20 World Cup on October 3.

A member of the selection panel informed that they have also included their T20 World Cup standby pacer Rubel Hossain to Bangladesh A team list along with the trio.

Bangladesh will face Scotland in their first World Cup qualifying round Group B match in Muskat on October 17.
