Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman on early Tuesday left for the UAE to take part in the remainder of Indian Premier League, scheduled to start on September 19 in Dubai.

The 26-year old was expected to leave Dhaka with another national stalwart Shakib Al Hasan on early Monday but he couldn’t board the flight due to a visa issue.

It was learnt that Mustafizur applied for the visa on Thursday but the process couldn’t be started as Friday and Saturday are holidays in Bangladesh while Sunday is observed as a national holiday in most countries across the globe.

Meanwhile, there was also some issue regarding the visa of his wife, who travelled with Mustafizur on the same flight after the problem was solved.

Both the cricketers had dissimilar outings in the first part of the IPL as Shakib could only play three matches for Kolkata Knight Riders and scored 38 runs and picked up only two wickets.

Mustafizur, on the other hand, played all seven matches for Rajasthan Royals and took eight wickets for his side.
