Bashundhara LPG, the leading liquefied petroleum gas brand in Bangladesh, has launched a nationwide gas cylinder safety campaign.
The campaign will provide on-demand hands-on advices for safe use of gas cylinders in households.
Bashundhara Group sector-A chief operating officer MM Jasim Uddin and Bashundhara LPG head of sales Jakaria Jalal and chief financial officer Mahbub Alam were present at the briefing.
Under the campaign, 10 teams across eight divisions will reach home to home on demand to check the cylinders and provide safety advices, said officials.
The expert teams will check if there are problems in burners or circulating pipe of the cylinders that may pose risks and cause accidents, said officials.
Bashundhara Group sector-A chief operating officer MM Jasim Uddin said, “The service team is ready to reach the service to any corner of the country.”
“In first phase, we want to serve 18,750 families from October to December. Our team will cover 25 families every year,” he said.
Bashundhara LPG head of sales Jakaria Jalal said, “Our brand is now leading the sector with 25 percent share in competitive market of 27 companies.”
“With different awareness campaigns we want to increase the share to 50 percent for strengthening our position in the market.”
“And Bashundhara LPG has made huge incentive for development of high-quality cylinder apart from huge investment in the market,” he added.
Bashundhara LPG head of human resources Saad Tanvir and general manager Sarowar Hossain Sohag and media manager Kazi Rokon Uddin, among others, were also present on the occasion.
