Bangladesh national football team head coach Jamie Day claimed that he would bring more changes in their playing squad against hosts Kyrgyzstan in their second match of the Three Nations Cup, scheduled to be held on Tuesday at Dolen Omurzakov Stadium in Bishkek.
The match is scheduled to take place at 08:30pm BST.
“It is really tough to get prepared for another match in a very short time. We have to change some players in the squad. I hope we will show better performance in the match,” the Englishman told the reporters after the first match on Sunday.
Bangladesh earlier started their campaign with a 0-2 goals defeat against Palestine at the same venue on Sunday. Kyrgyzstan beat Palestine by 1-0 goal in the opening match of the competition on Thursday.
Jamie, who took the competition as part of their preparation camp for the next month’s SAFF Championship, have been applying different tactics, formations and giving chances to all players to show individual performances.
The men in red and green have never won against Kyrgyzstan in their four international meets.
Bangladesh conceded a 0-3 defeat in the Nehru Cup 2007 while they lost in an international friendly to Kyrgyzstan by 1-2 in 2008.
Meanwhile, they also suffered 1-3 and 0-2 defeats respectively against the same opposition during their two FIFA World Cup qualifiers in 2015.
