Banani police inspector (investigation) Sheikh Sohail Rana, an alleged patron of e-commerce company E-orange and also accused in charges of embezzling customer’s money, has been arrested from the Indo-Nepal border area.

Members of the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) reportedly detained him from the Changrabandha border in West Bengal's Kochbihar district on Friday.

An Indian media reported on Saturday (September 4th) that BSF detained a Bangladeshi named Sohail Rana from the Changrabandha border in Kochbihar district on Friday on charges of entering India illegally.

However, the BSF has not officially informed Bangladesh about this so far.

Sohail Rana has been accused of embezzling crores of taka from customers of e-orange. He has been in hiding since e-orange customers recently staged a protest demanding delivery of goods or refunds. He later fled the country.
