The educational institutions of the country will be reopened if the Coronavirus or Covid-19 infection rate come downs below 10 percent.

In the meantime, a high-powered meeting has been called on September 5 to take final decision in this connection.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni will preside over the meeting.

Confirming the matter, Secondary and Higher Education Division Secretary Mahbub Hossain said the inter-ministerial meeting to be held on September 5 (Sunday) will take the decision on reopening of the educational institutions.

Decision will also be taken regarding further steps after resumption of schools, colleges, he added.
