A female police inspector filed a rape case against her colleague superintendant of police (SP) Moktar Hossain.

The victim filed the case with Dhaka 7th Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal and Judge Kamrunnahar after that asked Uttara East Police Station to file her complaint as a case.

Prosecutor of the tribunal Afroza Farhana Orange confirmed the matter to journalists.

The victim in her complaint alleged that the culprit raped her several occasions, threatening not to reveal it to anyone or she would have to suffer a lot. The accused SP even allegedly promised to marry her.
