Deputy Secretary for Health and Population Affairs of Bangladesh Awami Juba League Central Committee Dr Mahfuzar Rahman Uzzawal distributed Eid gifts among the helpless, destitute and  people who are worst affected by river erosion at  Bamandanga union of Nageshwari upazila in Kurigram ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

Some 500 people received  Eid gifts, including rice, pulses, potatoes, vermicelli and sweet pumpkin, on Tuesday.

Bamandanga UP chairman Mainul Haque Pradhan, Awami League Bamandanga Union president Md Majibar Master,  Awami League Bamandanga Union general secretary Md Abed Ali Mofizul Islam, general secretary of Bamandanga Union Juba League Md Tushar Pradhan, and  convenor of Chhatra League Bamandanga were present on the occasion.
