2,200 underprivileged families get humanitarian aid in Rajshahi

A total of 2,200 underprivileged and other less-incoming families were given humanitarian aid aimed at  ensuring their food security amid the strict lockdown being enforced to contain the Covid-19 spread.

Each of them was given a food package containing 15 kilograms of rice, two kilograms of flour, one kilogram of lentil, salt, edible oil and onion each, 100 grams of powder-chilly and one soap.

One Bank Limited distributed the relief materials under its corporate social responsibilities at Riverview Collectorate High School playground today through maintaining health rules to contain Covid-19 spread, BSS reported.

At least 650 households of Rajshahi city area received the food support. The remaining foods will be distributed in Paba, Puthiya and Godagari Upazilas on the three following days.

Speaking on the occasion, DC Abdul Jalil expressed his gratitude to the One Bank Limited for the humanitarian assistance to the worst-affected people.
