The district recorded 50.51 percent Covid-19 positivity rate after testing 199 collected samples in the last 24-hour, district health department sources said.
 
One person died of Covid-19 and 98 more people have tested positive for the deadly virus in the last 24-hour till this morning in the district after testing 198 samples, the sources said.
 
A total of 5,000 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the district. The death toll from the virus reached 80 after one fatality was reported.
 
Besides, a total of 111 patients are undergoing treatment at Feni General Hospital corona unit.
