Modi touched by mangoes from Bangladesh PM

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said he is touched by the gesture of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who sent mangoes from Bangladesh.
“I am touched by your thoughtful gesture of sending me mangoes from Bangladesh,” Modi said in a letter to his Bangladesh counterpart on Tuesday (July 6).
Modi said it was a pleasant reminder of Bangladesh Prime Minister’s generous hospitality in Dhaka extended to him during his recent visit to Bangladesh.
He said despite the disruptions by COVID-19 pandemic, cooperation between the two countries has continued to flourish in all areas of the bilateral relations. “I am glad that follow-up discussion and initiatives have been taken place despite these disruptions.”
The Indian Prime Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to progressing the mutually beneficial cooperation.
