BMSF organised online journalists training on COVID 19 prevention

Bangladesh Manobadhikar Sangbadik Forum (BMSF) with the Support of Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, Center for Communications Programme (CCP), Breakthrough Action & USAID and UJJIBAN Bangladesh jointly organized a Zoom online training on COVID 19 Prevention on Monday. 

A total 50 TV, Print, online and news agency based local journalists from Chattogram and Khagrachari districts participated the training programme.

The objectives of the training were to developed communications skills of the participated journalists’ community on COVD 19 prevention. 

COVID 19 related technical and communications issues, role of media how to prevents deadly pandemic, social stigma and discriminations, Protection of the Journalists community, Promote Vaccinations, Hand wash, Social distances, Uses Mask issues discussed during the training sessions.

UJJIBAN Bangladesh office, Chief of Party (CoP) Dr Kazi Faisal Mahmud and Outreach Manager AFM Iqbal has given technical support. 

Technical Adviser of UJJIBAN Dr Tajkera Noor Lipi and Dr Sultana Nusrat also present in the training session. 

BMSF Secretary General Khairuzzaman Kamal moderated the training.  BMSF Media Relation Coordinator Syed Sofi coordinated the programme.
