Seventeen more people died of coronavirus or Covid-19 at Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH)  in the last 24 hours, according to media report.

Of the deceased, 12 died of Covid-19 while five died with coronavirus-like symptoms.

RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani confirmed the information on Friday morning.

He said there were eight men  and seven women were among the dead. And most of them were between 35 and 65 years old.

Of the deceased, 10 are from Rajshahi, three from Chapainawabganj, two from Natore, one from Naogaon and one from Pabna, the RMCH director added.
