Fulbahar, mother of the Daily Sun Special Correspondent Esharaf Hossain, died of brain stroke at a hospital in Faridpur on Wednesday Morning. She was 82.    

She breathed her last at Faridpur Medical College Hospital (FMCH) at around 10:00am, her son Esharaf Hossain said.

Fulbahar was undergoing treatment at the hospital for last twelve days with fever and other old-age complications.

She left behind five sons, two daughters, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.

Her namaz-e-janaza will be held at Malanga village of Faridpur Sadar upazila after Zuhr prayers.

Later, she will be buried beside her husband Sheikh Parasullah at their family graveyard.
