A jackfruit weighing 65kg was sold in Kishoreganj at Tk 2,300 on Wednesday.

A mobile phone shopkeeper bought the Jackfruit from Islamia Supermarket in old thana area of the district.

Hailing from Hajrahati village of Kishoreganj Sadar upazila, Abul Hossain, a fruit-seller, sold the Jackfruit to mobile trader. Abul Hossain also procured the Jackfruit from Belab upazila in Narsingdi.

Billal Hossain said “Basically, I am not a Jackfruit trader. I have another fruit business. I saw six Jackfruits at a tree and I bought the bigger one. After waiting for two days, I sold the Jackfruit. It is a memorable in my life.”
