Two people died after they came in contact with a live electric wire when they were working in an under construction building at Bappi Chattar in Narayanganj City Corporation's ward no 17 on Monday night.

The deceased were identified as Raju Hossain, 22 and Forhad, 18.

According to sources that Raju and Forhad came in contact with a live electric wire while they were lifting rods at a under construction building of Kauser Mia in the area at 8:30pm.

Later on information, members of fire service took the injured to Narayanganj 100-bed general hospital where duty doctor declared them dead.
