A head-on collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw left three people dead in Shibganj upazila of Bogura on Saturday  morning.

The deceased are identified as  Ashraf Ali, 50, resident of the Baropur village under Bogura Sadar upazila; his wife Parul Begum, 42; and their two-month-old grandchild Rezowan.

Media report revealed that Ashraf and Parul died on the spot and Rezowan died at Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Hospital while undergoing treatment.

The grandparents were taking the baby to hospital as he was suffering from breathing problems, family members said.
