The government has decided to include the outbound expatriate Bangladeshi workers in the list of priority list for getting COVID-19 shot.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) issued a circular in this regard on Thursday. The circular provided detail instructions about the whole process of vaccination.Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment minister Imran Ahmed has expressed satisfaction over the inclusion of expatriate workers in the list.
Earlier, on Wednesday, Imran Ahmed called on Health Minister Zahid Malek to discuss the issue of vaccination of expatriate workers on priority basis.
Health and Family Welfare Minister assured Expatriates’ Welfare minister that expat workers would be given vaccines on priority basis during the meeting.
